We visited not the city of Montecatini Terme itself, but its medieval part, the so-called Montecatini Alto. Alas, it made no impression on us at all.

The city’s main square is one big restaurant. It seems all the tourists are eating. In principle, they’re doing the right thing — there’s practically nothing to see here.
