After driving around the city a bit, we finally managed to find somewhere to park the car, with great difficulty. It turned out that parking after 6 p.m. is free. But we only realized that later.
Rouen Cathedral, built in the Gothic style. The cathedral’s height is 151 meters. Until 1880, it was the tallest building in the world.
Rouen clock - the second in the world. The first clock was installed in 1386 in England (Salisbury). In Rouen, the clock was installed three years later, in 1389. There is no minute hand. And the only hand is decorated with a ram, and not by chance - Rouen grew rich from the transshipment and processing of wool.
The silver sphere shows the phases of the moon. And the image below the dial indicates the days of the week.
