Itinerary
Today was a wonderful day - slow-paced, quiet (there were no builders after all :), filled with the scents of flowers and incredible views.
The weather on the island, in my opinion, is ideal - both day and night the temperature is about the same, around 23 degrees Celsius.
True, there is almost always wind.
This is also part of our garden. There are so many flowers here!
The second part of our long leisurely breakfast (first came the omelet :) - coffee with milk, local cheese, and a cornbread muffin. Everything is very tasty!
In the second half of the day, we finally set off to see a few things.
The main attractions on the island are the viewpoints and nature itself.

The island has lots of unusual trees and plants. This tree has flowers that look a bit like a bottle brush.

Then we went to Lombo Gordo beach.
All the beaches on São Miguel have black volcanic sand. The water in the ocean is quite cool and, of course, there are waves!
Serzhyk loves waves, but I don’t really. But still, it was very nice to swim.

Do you know what we did after we finished swimming?
We dug up an ancient log :) Of course, Serzhyk came up with it.
Before we started digging, only a tiny part was sticking out, the light-colored one.
Finally dug it up! :)
