In the first half of the day, we simply enjoy staying at the house.

Everyone on their own terrace :)

After lunch, we’ll go for a little walk.

Six kilometers up our road is the Mirador de Los Brecitos viewpoint.

From there, the routes through the pine forest begin.

There are a lot of pine trees on La Palma. But the pines here are special — Canary pines :)
They are more resistant to fires and are perfectly adapted to volcanic soil, which is poor in organic matter, where other plants and trees do not survive.

It’s clear there was a fire. And such a beautiful golden carpet of branches.
