Haria
Today is Sunday, and there is a fair here in the main square - people are selling handmade crafts. They bought me some pretty earrings there :)
Haria - Arrieta - Playa de la Canteria
Lanzarote 2019
In the morning we move to a new hotel, in the town of Arrieta. On the way, we stop in the small town of Haria, popular among tourists.

Fair in Haria
I don’t think I’ve mentioned yet that on Lanzarote 90% of the little houses are two-story buildings with green doors and windows. I really liked that :)

A typical Lanzarote house. A little street in Haría.
Check-in at the hotel took a little longer than expected. We had to wait while they tidied up. So by the time we checked in and “had lunch”…. It was already getting on toward evening.

Lunch
Today we are staying in “chambers” again. Unfortunately, we don’t have any photos of the apartment at all, but it was beautiful. Our favorite place is the living room with a large window and a sofa.
In the evening, we head to Playa de la Canteria beach. The beach is very beautiful. Wide, sandy, surrounded by cliffs. But…. At the entrance there is a huge sign - “Swimming prohibited”.

Playa de la Canteria Beach
There were very few people on the beach, but no one was swimming. Why swimming was prohibited there remained a mystery. So we just walked around and climbed onto a small rock, from which the “secluded” little bay was visible.

A little cove. And we’re up on the cliff :)
