Itinerary
Today we are staying in the island’s capital, the city of Las Palmas. At the hotel, we were asked to take a walk for an hour while they clean the room. While we wait to check into the hotel, we’re drinking delicious cappuccino in a small, lively café with tables right on the street.

In the evening, we go for a walk along the promenade by the three-kilometer Las Canteras beach. There are lots of people and little restaurants here — a popular spot among vacationers. There are no photos of the promenade at all...

Today is Volchy’s birthday, and I wanted to celebrate this day somehow... For dinner, we chose an Italian restaurant on the waterfront, with a view of the ocean. It was cool. The pizza was pretty good, but our favorite pizzeria in Düsseldorf has spoiled us, and after it all pizza seems “not quite right.”
