Itinerary

Today was a day without photos and without adventures.

By morning the temperature had gone down; it was 36.2. I felt pretty well, only there was a strong weakness throughout my whole body. But I did feel like eating. Yet what could I eat here, since now the main thing is to stick to a diet… And they even eat spicy semolina with vegetables for breakfast! My only hope was sweet semolina, but they didn’t have any in the restaurant. So we ate bananas.

Then I found a supermarket in this city on Google Maps. We got into a tuk-tuk and went there.

The supermarket turned out to be a tiny little shop. But there was a one-and-a-half-kilogram bag of oatmeal! Volchiy said we had to buy it — they would feed me with it. Of course I was very happy, but how were we going to carry it around with us! But Volchiy was adamant, and we bought me the oatmeal.

In the room I made myself porridge with banana — my joy knew no bounds. True, the joy didn’t last long — by evening our immersion heater broke. In the evening I asked for boiled water in our restaurant, but without an immersion heater there is no life… We’ll have to somehow find one here. Last time when we were in India, we forgot our immersion heater at the hotel and somehow found another one. Maybe we’ll be lucky this time too…
