Day 17: November 21

Today is our last full day in Jordan. Tomorrow we fly home. There are almost no photos from this day. Everything is already familiar. We are going to the same beach south of Aqaba.

I wanted Wolfy to find the underwater ship; they said it was only a hundred meters from the shore. We jumped into the sea together from the pier. Jordanian boys were circling around us. I felt awkward putting on my mask in the water, so I swam back to shore. Wolfy tried to find the ship, but he didn’t.

Then we warmed ourselves on the shore. Today the wind and sun somehow aren’t warming much; it’s chilly. After warming up a little, we go swimming and looking at the fish. Wolfy shows a good entry into the sea.

Still, how beautiful it is here. This incredible underwater world with colorful fish and corals! I think I could swim here for hours if it weren’t cold and if my mask didn’t fog up.

At the hotel we warm ourselves in the sun on the balcony and see the sunset off. We have dinner in the same restaurant; we didn’t find anything better.
