Jordan 2021

Conclusion

Jordan 2021

Itinerary

I think it’s important to write a conclusion, to somehow bring my story to an end. I really liked Jordan. It may seem that at times we were bored or not entirely happy, perhaps I didn’t describe the events emotionally enough. But overall it was a very, very good trip. Filled with a variety of experiences and places. Warmth and sunshine. Colorful rocks and sandy expanses. Delicious food. Beautiful hotels. The sweetish smoke of a hookah. The salty, salty sea. Incredible salt shores. Sunsets. A feeling of freedom when we drove completely alone among mountain landscapes.

While we were flying back to Germany, I fell asleep for just a very short time and dreamed that we were lying on the bed in the sunlight in our last hotel… And then several more times, already at home, I dreamed of Jordan, not letting go completely, I experienced it again and again while already in cold and cloudy Düsseldorf. And waking up, through my drowsiness, I couldn’t understand where I was.

A week later I am still reliving, still going through this trip of ours. Writing a diary, selecting photos. Probably the longer you stay on a trip, the harder it is afterward to return to your former life, to your former rhythm. It seems to me that even now, in my thoughts, I am still partly there, in Jordan.
