Itinerary
Today we have a “rest” day.
We moved into an apartment.
The apartment is far from the center. Nice, but very cold.
During the day it is much colder indoors than outside.
In Peru there is no centralized heating.
Electricity costs twice as much as in Ukraine, so heaters are rare here.
We went to the supermarket. There is a large shopping center near our house.
We bought ingredients for soup (hooray!) and also for chicha morada.
Sergik came up with the idea of trying to make it ourselves.

We saw a halo! I read that it’s a “zenith arc.” It appears when there are cirrus clouds in the sky.

Making chicha morada. Purple corn. Pineapple. Cinnamon. Cloves. Limes. Boiled for about 2 hours. The Peruvian version of uzvar :)
Serzhyk is cooking. Almost all the burners are occupied :)
The soup is very tasty. Chicha morada is great too — thick, dark purple, with a rich flavor.
Peruvians drink it chilled. But I really like it warm.
