Ko Jum

It got better, there was no fever, only weakness in the body. We had breakfast in the restaurant, I had an omelet, and Voliy had pad thai. Then we decided to go explore the island.

A concrete road runs along the entire island, but we turned off onto a dirt road, wanting to go around the island in a loop. At first the dirt road was more or less passable, but then it turned into a very narrow path — we had to turn back.
Having fun on the beach
There are hotels in that part of the island too; it’s incredibly remote there. We decided to go for a swim there since we had made such a difficult journey. The way down to the sea was through a complex of cottages. All the cottages are located on the slope, and it’s a long, tedious walk down the steps to the sea. And the beach is even worse than ours.
How lucky we were to choose our hotel. We stepped out of our cottage, and the beach was just a couple of meters away.
Our little house is almost in the jungle
We decided to explore the rest of the island tomorrow. We went home. We drank ginger tea. Volchiy worked a little, and I read.
This is also part of our complex, but these are the more expensive cottages.
